Take
a Leap of Faith. You've heard of it...now take it!
Looking for
happiness? Love? Security? Forgiveness? Take a chance and simply
try this every day for a week and see how you feel.
Before
sleep, close your eyes, take a few very deep breaths and open
your heart. Please pray honestly. Pray with your heart.
God is around you. God is beside you. God is within you. God
is real. You be real, too. Pray unselfishly for others,
not just for yourself and your own family. What do others
you know need as well? The love you have and show for others
will be returned to you. You'll see!
Pray
according to God's will, not our own. God knows what
you need even before you do. Don't worry. Let the Lord guide
your prayers and let His will be done, not your own. You have
happiness; you have love and you have forgiveness. It is God's
love. God will take care of you, believe and take this first
step. The leap. God will bless you with his grace. It is easily
the most awesome lesson we can experience while being alive!
Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He
dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across
the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed
two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and
the other to the Lord.
When the last scene
of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints
in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his
life.
This really bothered
him and he questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that
once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times
in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand
why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied: "My
son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave
you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see
only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Knock,
knock...He's there.
"So I say
to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will
find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone
who asks receive, and he who seeks find, and to him who knocks
it will be opened." (Luke11:9-10)
How Great?
O, lord , my god
When I, in awesome
wonder
Consider all the world's thy
hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling
thunder
Thy power thru out the universe
displayed.
How great thou art

Wings of a Dove By:

When troubles surround us, When
evils come
The body grows weak, The spirit
grows numb
When these things beset us, He
doesn't forget us
He sends down His love
On the wings of a dove
When Jesus went
down To the river that day
He was baptized In the usual
way
And when it was done, God blessed
his son
He sent him his love
On the wings of dove
On the wings of a snow-white
dove
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove
When Noah had drifted
On the flood many days
He searched for land In various
ways
Troubles, he had some, But wasn't
forgotten
He sent him His love
On the wings of a dove
On the wings of a snow-white
dove
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove
